Energywell has revealed a partnership with a prominent independent power producer (IPP) on a collaborative initiative facilitated by its subsidiary, Energywell Community Solar (operating as Think Community Solar). The objective of this venture is to deliver customer acquisition and management services for community solar projects in the state of Maine.

In a remarkable achievement, Energywell successfully achieved full subscription for its inaugural project in Maine during the recent winter season, accomplishing this feat within a remarkably short span of a few weeks. This accomplishment was made possible through the utilization of Energywell’s exclusive Think+ sales channel. Steve Condon, Vice President of Community Solar at Energywell, expressed that the company’s distinctive value proposition establishes a fresh market benchmark, introducing substantial scalability to customer acquisition and management in the community solar sector.

Condon further emphasized, “Our high-efficiency model seamlessly adapts to all states that offer community solar subscriptions to our residential, LMI (Low-to-Moderate Income), and C&I (Commercial and Industrial) energy customers. We eagerly anticipate the continued expansion of our community solar initiatives throughout 2023.”

Energywell holds the belief that community solar module subscriptions present a remarkable opportunity to provide customers with added value, allowing them to enjoy long-term savings without the need for a substantial upfront payment. The collaborative efforts between Energywell and its licensed retail electricity supplier, Think Energy, are expected to generate significant synergies.
