Central European solar producer R.Power and French asset manager Eiffel Investment Group have joined forces to advance more than 1 GWp of ground-mounted solar projects in Romania, the 12th largest country in Europe with a population of approximately 19 million.

Under the terms of the partnership deal, R.Power will contribute over 50 solar projects at various development phases, while Eiffel Investment Group will offer financial backing through its Eiffel Transition Infrastructure fund.

Upon becoming operational, these initiatives are projected to deliver solar power to more than 500,000 Romanian households, thereby preventing approximately 420,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.

The partnership advisory team at De Gaulle Fleurance was spearheaded by partner Sylvie Perrin and senior manager David Faravelon.
