Sungrow introduced the enhanced edition of its intelligent solar project management and monitoring App, iSolarCloud, on the first day of this month. This updated version facilitates complete lifecycle management for solar and energy storage facilities, encompassing data gathering, plant supervision, and operation and maintenance (O&M) tasks.

The latest iteration of iSolarCloud enhances O&M efficiency through a range of upgraded functionalities. It possesses the capability to proactively identify system irregularities and dispatch fault alerts through the app or email. With the inclusion of Smart IV Curve Diagnosis for detecting faulty modules, the new iSolarCloud enhances fault analysis and achieves a precision rate exceeding 90% in automated report generation. Additionally, it incorporates a remote upgrade feature, facilitating equipment updates with minimal effort via smartphone controls. Drawing on the concept of ‘gamification,’ a novel feature allows users to establish carbon dioxide emission goals and track their progress towards these targets.

In terms of data security, the upgraded iSolarCloud ensures comprehensive protection of information across communication, system, application, and data domains, guaranteeing all-round information security. It stands out as one of the few products that have obtained certifications for both the globally recognized industrial information security standard IEC62443 and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), underscoring its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security

Currently, iSolarCloud has garnered a user base of over one million individuals spanning across 150 countries. It has been adopted by users worldwide and has facilitated a cumulative installed capacity of 56 GW.
